Le Touquet is the best known seaside resort on France’s "Cote d’Opale," surrounded by a huge pine forest and wide beaches backed by sandy dunes. A tourist train operates along the sea front and will take you around the town too - there are great activities to be enjoyed here including yachting, golf, horse-riding and numerous other sporting facilities. From Calais, join the A16 motorway and leave this at exit 26 (Etaples -Le Touquet.)
